There is a definite countdown taking place these days, but is it a
countdown to intervention and to toppling the Assad regime, or a countdown to
another genocide, another blot on humanity’s collective conscience? We may not
have long to wait to find our answer.

Today’s death toll: 117. The Breakdown:
93 in Homs City where the total includes 21 children and 6 women. 18 of children
died in their incubators when loyalist troops cut off the electric supply to
their hospital. A further 19 people from three different families were killed
when loyalist militias invaded their homes in Al-Sabeel Neighborhood. The other
fatalities occurred in Idlib (7), Rural Damascus (6), Hama (4), Deraa (3),
Aleppo (3) and Deir Ezzor (1).
