Ammar Abdulhamid

Ammar Abdulhamid is a Syrian-American author and activist based in Silver Spring, Maryland. He maintains a number of websites and blogs dedicated to his fiction and nonfiction writings. He is also the founder of the Tharwa Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to democracy promotion, peace-building and post-conflict reconstruction, and the President of I Am Syria, a non-profit media based campaign that seeks to educate the world about the Syrian Conflict.
